I love excel its my new best friend.
So I was redoing my budget for the millionth time it felt like. A friend showed me the new downloadable documents in excel that can help with budgets. You plug in the numbers and it does the math. Well I found two that helped. One that did a monthly budget and one that did it by paycheck. So I got an overall then did the paycheck one to figure out where the extra money was and how to move bills around to even it all out. I loved them. Now I can open them up, pay the right bills and put the rest in savings. I found extra money that I "thought" we didn't have. It was great. Hopefully now we will be debt free including cars by January 2013. Only 2.5 years wohoo.

That is awesome. I love excel too. I'm going to have to find those downloadable documents. I made my own spreadsheet, but I'd love to try that out.

I also love Excel for the budget deal! And that's GREAT on the debt free! We went debt free (minus our home) last April and it was WONDERFUL to make that final car payment and be DONE with that stuff! You'll get there just keep plugging away!
