Do you have a set goal on when you want to be out of debt?
How many years, months, etc have you given yourself to get out of debt?
Share your goals with us and we can all help each other stay on track.

If we stay in this house and don't pay any more than the minimum, we will pay it off in 13.75 more years.

HOWEVER, we want to move and we'll most likely need to take a 30 year mortgage to do so. Taxes are a killer here.

We are working toward being in debt - we currently rent and are saving to buy a house in the next 2 years. We currently have a few medical bills - Dalton's regular checkup and Tim's regular checkups, plus the baby (although the birth center is paid), but that's all that we have left.

We have set a goal to be debt free (not including the house) before I retire in 6 years. I think we can do it sooner but this gives us some fudge room to allow for craziness.

Right now my only debt is the mortgage. I took a 30 year loan about 2 years ago when I bought the house.
