Yes we pay for cable.
Most of the shows we watch are on cable channels, so I think it's worth it to us.
I've switched from the most expensive provider to the lowest one. I do call and talk to them about available deals for current members. Usually these are good for 1 year and then I call back looking for new offers. Oh, we also don't have any movie channels, only the basic. That helps keep the cost low.
I call whenever our current promotion is up to see about another discount. They are usually good about helping us out. We have cable but only basic local channels so we don't actually use it. But it does help cut down on cost for internet to have the bundle.
