No childcare costs for me.

Rates are fairly high in my area. When I checked prices out of curiosity when my oldest, now 6 years old, was born places were $300-400/week. So I imagine they'd be at least $325 now.

Even in home places run about $150/week and that's for a place with somewhat limited hours.

Most places require you to pay upfront for the week.

I watch an almost 3 year old and a 4 month old and I charge $9/hour for them. I have them about 2 days/week on average. I am only watching them 2 more days because the mom switched to a night shift of work to save money. I get paid every 2 weeks when the mom gets paid. I send her a bill based on the hours they were here.

Do you pay for daycare? Nope. I purposely got a job working from home so that we wouldn't have daycare expenses and so we could work with my hubby's ever changing crazy schedule. So I work full time from home and watch my kiddo myself while working.

Do you pay weekly, monthly, bi weekly? When he went to daycare (short lived) we paid weekly.

How much do you pay? We paid between $100 and $125 per week depending on where he was at the time.

Do you pay more or less than the average for your area? $100-$125 a week is the average for the area for home daycares (which is all we have).

Do you pay for daycare? Yes I do.
Do you pay weekly, monthly, bi weekly? We pay monthly (or a little longer)
How much do you pay? $350 a week for DD (4) and DS (2)
Do you pay more or less than the average for your area? We pay less b/c the director is a friend of ours and allows us to pay what we can afford.

I pay $297 for my DS full time care, $125 for my DD before and after school care and will soon be adding another ~$250 for our baby (actually DS and the baby will switch but either way).
I pay that 2x a month.
For our area that is very good. Normal cost for an infant is $900 a month and I am just under $600. We are very lucky we have a subsidy from the Navy that helps. And infant care is very expensive. I haven't checked around town in a bit so that $900 is from a couple years ago.
