Not that we want to think about retirement savings when we're barely starting career paths, but ... now is the time to start. If you're a 20something, read the linked article and get to it. If you're past being a 20something and still think you could improve your retirement plan, take a gander yourselves.

I was just going to intro myself but I saw this and had to reply. I'm 22 and I have my first 401k which now has $500 in it. I also have almost $4000 between my checking and savings accounts. I have alot of debt to student loans and my mortgage though. But I'm a twenty something and I save!

I'm another 20 something DH and I have modest Roth IRA's mostly because DH's dad gave us money for christmas 5 years ago to open one up, and got us to put $50 in a month. you gotta be grateful for good parents
