<div align="center">Do you ever pretend to be your DH (SO, DF, BF, etc) on the phone when dealing with some financial matter because the account is in his name?</div>

I did once and I tried to make my voice all low and stuff. I felt totally stupid, and I'm sure they didn't believe me, so I haven't done it again.

I've done it probably a million times. I can never get any answers otherwise since DH never calls anyone he's supposed to and we don't have the same last name. I just assume the people are too afraid of offending me by asking why my voice doesn't sound like it belongs to a Benjamin.

No, I've never done that, but wouldn't it be funny if you used your most feminine "Michael Jackson" voice and claimed to be him anyway?

I mean, seriously, is a potential discrimination suit worth them asking every feminine sounding Robert if they're really a Robert? LOL. I figure they aren't going to risk it, and so far, so good.

Nope, but I've told them I'm his wife and could answer any security questions, so they've talked to me anyway.

I do this with telemarketers all the time... Hey, it's cheap entertainment. DH is good about keeping me on all the accounts so I can handle things while he is gone.
