In the past few years I have lost entirely too many people to cancer. My Great-grandma, my dad, two uncles, a great aunt...... too many. Earlier this week I found out that my Grandfather has been diagnosed with cancer and they suspect that my aunt has cancer too. Every time I start feeling like things might finally be back to "normal" I get knocked back down again. This sucks!

I hate it too. I just lost my dad to brain cancer last December. We found out he had it and 3 weeks later he was gone.

I'm sorry that life seems to keep throwing this at you.

I second your topic thread title!

I didn't have a good relationship with my father and refused to talk to him for years. Literally. 2 Christmas's ago, I tried to get in contact with him, only to discover 2 months later that he had passed away that August of cancer.

My mother in law passed away from cancer less than a month after being diagnosed. She went into the hospital and never left.

Various friends and relatives have contended with it. My brother in law's sister just had a double mastectomy.

My heart goes out to anyone and everyone who has been touched by the "big C".

And isn't karma supposed to save diseases like cancer for the bad guys??? Too many of the good guys are fighting, and loosing against this. It's not fair, not even a little bit.

my father had cancer as well. its so awful. and i agree. my father would give the shirt off his back (and did before) and this is what he had to deal with. why does it happen to the good people.
