I hate to be joining this group, but I am.. my mom passed away Monday (6-28) from cancer. She was only 55 years old. I feel so lost and like I'll never be able to move on. My daughter is only 2 and my mom LOVED her. It kills me that she won't be around to watch her grow.

I'm so sorry.

This group is a small one, but the other ladies will be around to say hi. I hate that you had to join us, but I look forward to getting to know you.

Hi Crystal, I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom.

I lost my dad this spring to complications due to his cancer, he was also 55. I dont have any children, and I still have my mom.. but I do know a lil of the pain you feel.

HUGS to you and your pretty Bella.

Thanks. This is just so hard. I never thought I'd feel this much pain in my life. Everyone tells me that it will get better with time, but it's just so hard to believe. I just want my mom back.

I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I lost my mom 8 years ago when she was only 50. I know what you mean about being sad that your mom won't see your daughter growing up. I am going through that now as well. I didn't have kids when my mom passed away, so for me, it makes me sad that my kids will never know their grandma. Even though there aren't a lot of people on this board, they ones that are here are very helpful! HUGS to you!

I am so sorry for your loss
Its true, it does get better over time, but sometimes it takes a year to stop crying each day. Everyone goes through grieving a parent's loss at a different rate-I've lost both parents, my mom most recently three years ago. Moms are very hard to lose, esp when you're in the middle of having or raising LO's.
((hugs)) and love to you. Each day will get a little easier, then one day you'll realize that you haven't cried for her-then you'll feel guilty, but then you forgive yourself, and the memories won't hurt as much.

I'm so sorry for your loss. ((Hugs))

Cancer took my mom's life when she was 57. I was 6 months pregnant when she died. It's been 2.5 years since she passed, and it still seems like yesterday.
