Tyler is in gymnastics right now. He is on a competing level so that's all we really have time for at the moment.

nathaniel is in Karate, he goes twice a week and they do an after school program that we were thinking of putting him in... He was in hip hop, because he LOVES to dance, but the class wasn't very structured and he seriously took advantage and most of the time was very disruptive. I've considered gymnastics, but I'm afraid because I don't know how structured they are and if its anything like his dance then it would be a waist of money.

Karate is doing well!! Its very structured and the instructors arn't afraid to tell nathaniel to stop and do what ever it is he's supposed to do. And if he doesn't listen then he can't participate.. After a few times of sitting it out, you can tell he does his best to do what he's supposed to do so he can be a part of what ever is going on. And they seem to know when he's being disruptive and when he doesn't realize that he's doing something (like moving in line because he's just excited and doesn't realize it, compaired to and moving in line and purposfully disrupting others). He is learning self control, concentration, and respect.. He knows what they mean and now he's trying to practice them.

My son does Tae Kwon Do and it has helped tremendously with his concentration and especially school work. We started it back in the early summer and he is an orange belt now. Other sports didn't hold his attention. When I finally get him to swallow his AM pill, I'll have it made
