I've got a 2 year old and one on the way, so obviously neither of my kids are diagnosed anything. but I don't know anything about the genetics of it. I was diagnosed a few months before I found outI was preggo (24 years old), and the meds seriously changed my universe. I'm wondering if my girls are more likely to have it since I have it... nervous about dealing with a home with me and a child that are ADHD.

I've heard that genetics does play a part in it. But I havent really looked into that since my son is ADHD and neither me nor the father, or any other family member seems to be.
If you would happen to see any signs of it in the future just discuss with their pediatrician. But you being ADHD doesnt necessarily mean they will. My best friend is ADHD and so is her son but her daughter is not.
