I'm having another issue. My 9 year old for sure has ADHD and is on meds for it. My problem is my 3 1/2 year old is acting just like him and I can't tell if she's acting this way b/c she sees her brother act like this all the time or if it's b/c she may have ADHD also. Our psychologist said that if one parent and one child has ADHD then there is a 50% chance that your other children will have it also.

She never listens, can't sit still, nothing keeps her attention she'll ask you to put on a certain movie for her or one of her V Smile games and she'll play for it 1 minute and then start nagging you to put on something different. She talks nonstop. I can't really find the words to explain it but she even has the same attitude ds has. She is constantly making messes and spilling things. You can tell her not to do something b/c it will spill/make a mess etc and she will keep on until it does make a mess. Then she's happy. It's like she loves to make messes

It's driving me crazy. Between ds talking nonstop and dd talking nonstop we never, ever have downtime here. I can't even finish what I start b/c one of them needs my attention and gets me sidetracked with something else.

Any advice on how to deal with this?

hmm that is tough because it could just be the age ya know? I know Austin started showing signs last year at the end of the school year and I wasn't 100% sure if ut was cuz his older brother is ADHD, but sure enough I finally had him tested and sure enough he was. I would wait and see if maybe it's the age?

I know what you mean. It's a hard age and it's really hard to know what's going on with her.
