Hi Im Shelly im 42
My son Trav 14 has adhd and has been on meds for about 5 years now
He is now a highschool freshmen and highhonor roll !
He is an amazing kid who is incontrol of his adhd and he and his doctor have really turned things around.
Im here for any support you may need because it really has gotten so much better as he has gotten older and matured. Most days I forget he has it.
He takes his med only on school days.
My stepson has ADHD. They have him on a high dosage of addorall. It ISN'T working. He can't pay attention to anything for more than 5 minutes, not even to do his homework. He is CONSTANTLY running around and moving. You tell him the same thing over and over and over again and its like you can't get through to him. We have tried parenting strategies up the wazoo...and still no change!!!! I think I'm losing my mind when it comes to dealing with Blake.

I am so glad to hear that your son is doing well! My sons doctor is ADHD and said that 80% of his classmates in medical school had ADHD. He said it makes things easier when you're older because you are able to multitask better. I just hope he has a bright future like that ahead of him.
