My 10 year old has ADHD and is on Concerta. The pedi thinks my 4 year old has it also but says she's too young to be treated and then I have an 8 month old. Dh is gone all the time and I'm a SAHM.
I can't ever find the time to get my housework, laundry or anything else done. In the time it takes me to put one load of laundry in the wash my 4 year old will ask me to do at least 4 different things for her and make at least 1 mess- And no I'm not kidding or exaggerating. It's making me crazy. I feel like I never get anything done and it's causing problems between dh and I now.
How do you ladies find the time or make the time to get things done?
What type of things will your 4 yr old ask you to do? I would tell her to wait until I was done with this chore. Mommy gets a chore done, you can have something. And have her help too! She could probably help throw clothes in the washing machine.
My older two are in school all day and I have a 6mo old that stays home with me. I work my rear off during his naps, and when he's awake and I need to do something, I make sure he is really occupied!
Just take things one at a time. Things are going to get messy right after you clean it. Finish one thing, then work on another. I also find making a to-do list for the day really helps keeps me focused.
I am right there with you..I have 2 kids on meds for ADD/ADHD and there are nights I am lucky I have time to go to the bathroom! lol
Luckily i work all day so that is my little break. It's hard, I know... (((hugs))))
