I swear every day it gets more and more stressful....
Tyler has severe sleep issues and I mean severe! It takes him 6-7 hours to fall asleep and then when he does he's up every hour anyway so he NEVER gets a decent nights sleep, neither do I since by then his ADHD meds have wore off and he is roaming all over the house waking everyone up. And he can do this for weeks before he finally crashes and sleeps for a whole night. His previous DR had suggested a sleep study but wanted to say what his psych thought well is psych was a quack and said there was nothing wrong with his sleep and didn't order one! (neeldess to say we don't see him anymore) so it's gotten really bad again so his DR that I work for ordered a sleep study and I am just waiting for them to call me back to set it up, we also went up to the highest dose of Risperidone and I have a meeting with his teachers on Thurs to discuss going back on his afternoon pill as well....oy I just feel so bad for him, he's only 13 and going through all this already

Have you tried melatonin, it might help get him to sleep. It's the only thing I can suggest.

Have you tried it again. Sometimes the body gets used of it but after not being on it for a while might respond again to it.
