I am planning to put my son on one of these medications but doctors seem to be split on which one works better and I am trying to get more information about patient experiences. Thank you for your help.
I don't have any experience with either med but I would say it would depend on your sons age (some meds work better on younger children than others), how bad the symptoms are, and how his body handles the med. Most of the time with ADHD meds its a trial and error thing, if one med isn't right you try another until you find the right one for you.
Medications work differently for different people. My daughter has been on both of those. She started on Vyvance when she was 4. The doctor had us try concert in January, and she because very moody and emotional, so we went back to Vyvance.... we recently switched to Adderall XR which seems to be working even better than the Vyvance.... Sometimes you just have to try it out, and if it works, awesome, if it doesn't, you have to try something else.
~Thank you to the lovely ladies on the siggy board for making me siggies!~
Hi there my daughter has been on concerta now for near on 3 years and it works well what changes id the strength and that depended on my daughters weight and behavior .
