This is really the first book I've done in this size. What I've done with the pages that have multiple pictures, is I've printed the pictures 1/4 of their normal size. It's definitely been a challenge, and I have had to be more selective in what I put on a page. But, I've learned a lot from doing it, like how to use titles to accentuate the photo, and ways to include journaling into the embellishments and layout elements. So instead of having a typical layout with embellishments and journaling, the journaling becomes part of the border or part of the decorations playing up the title and photos. I think it's really improved my technique, artistically. I've seen people do entire 8x8 books using just one photo per page, but I really like playing with the dimensions of smaller pictures and larger titles- something that I wouldn't do in a bigger book. As far as adding more pages to fit it all in, I have just been really selective about which pictures truly capture the moments I want to docutment. This is just the bragbook, marking his first milestones, and I have a second book that is about our first year as a family. So, for this type of book it hasn't been difficult for me to select. For the "The First Time I Saw You" page, for example, I chose the pictures that really captured how I felt at his birth. The picture of me looking at him, and the two pictures of what I was seeing. There were tons of pictures of that moment, of course, and those will be added to our family book under Jonah's birth. Does that make sense? So I guess some of the things, I am scrapping in two different books, but the function of each book is different. Some things, like his first smile will only be in his bragbook. Hope that answers your question! Usually I work in the typical 12x12
