How many days were you in hospital when you had your cesarean/s?
If you've not had your baby yet - have you given an estimate of how many days you'll be in hospital?

I had Gaby at 1.01am on Thursday & left around 10.30am Sunday... I had been in since the Tuesday though, for induction...

My LO was born around 7pm on a Thursday and I left Sunday before noon, however I was given the ok to leave on Saturday, but it would have been after 8pm when I was allowed to leave, so I just stayed another night. For me, the extra night was awesome. I had spent all day Thursday pushing and I was completely exhausted.

Had Marissa at 5:49 on the friday and went home around lunch time on the monday.
Had Mattea at 10:04am on the tuesday and went home on the friday. On the thursday they told me that I was totally healed enough to leave but that they never let c/s moms go less than 3 days.

I haven't had my c-section yet. Dr said the norm is 3 days but I can stay up to 4 dys. I guess if the nurses are nice and the food is good I wouldn't mind staying 4 dys. But if the nurses are mean than I want to stay the least amt possible at the hospital.

With my first, I was in the hospital for four days. I was shopping at Target 36 hours after my second c/s.

I hope I'm allowed to leave after a max of 3 days... I hated being in hospital, and I know I'm going to find it really hard being away from Gaby But that said, I don't want to leave hospital, until I feel like I can confidently breastfeed by myself...

Labored all day on a Wednesday, had her about 12:30 am Thursday, then we went home Monday. I had a really awful recovery and lived on a second floor so I needed all that time.

with all 3 of my c-sections, I went in on like Monday and left on Wednesday! He was like you are good to go and i was pretty eager since I had little ones at home. My husband was off work so he helped a lot. Something about being in the comfort of my own home made me feel better then being in a hospital. Although, I was pretty fortunate that one of my main nurses was a cousin and she took real good care of me while I was in the hospital.

I had her on Tuesday and went home Friday - They told me that I could stay another night if I wanted to, but I was ready to go home.

I never leave the hospital early. I'm there about 4 days after the c-sections but with this one I get 5 days if I want it. Not sure if I'm going to because I am ready to go by day 4.

I stayed 5 nights with my first c-section, 4 nights with my second. To be honest, 5 nights was fine with my first because it was my first baby, my dh was allowed to room in at the hospital so I felt like we got to take advantage of all the available expertise!

2nd time round, I was itching to get home and was so glad I wasn't staying 5 nights. I was at a different hospital, they didn't allow rooming in (not that i would have anyway as I wanted dh home with ds)...but I was desperate to get home to my 20mth old and my dh!

This time I think I'll be the same - but I will expect and be happy with a 4 night stay.

I thought we stayed 4 but DH told just told me it was only 3. I believe him because the whole stay at the hospital is not too clear in my mind. I hope to go home asap. I am so dreading it. I've never been without my son for more than a night.

2 nights with both.
Would have left sooner with DS but he was in the NICU and we waited to see if he could come home with us (he couldn't).
