BTDT Mamas - did you start experiencing pre-labour type symptoms, before your c/s??? ie had you started dilating? were you having contractions? had you lost your mucous plug/bloody show?

I lost my plug around 5.30pm on the Wednesday night & then around 9.30pm my waters actually broke.. so I ended up having my scheduled c/s early & it was classed as an 'emergency'... but it wasn't really a life or death matter.

Did you get your regular OB to perform the emergency C-section? That is one scenario I haven't thought about = going into labor before the C-section. What did you do? Did you call your regular Dr or did you just go straight to the hospital?

yes! I lost bits of my plug starting at 34 weeks and at 35 weeks I was having regular contractions every 5 minutes for hours.

They hurt so bad and I was so afraid I was going to have a preemie.

Then everyday after that I'd have lots of contractions but never really a pattern.

I was only like 1 1/2 cm dilated before being induced with my first at 40w+2d. I had some BH contractions and lost little bits of my mucous plug prior to that, but no other pre-labor symptoms.

With the others, a few minor BH contractions but that's about it. Don't know if I had dilated at all b/c I wasn't checked for that with the others.

no, I didn't labor at all. I went in because my BP was high. I was only 35 weeks and dilated a cm. They tried thinning my cervix to get me ready for Pit but, by that time the pre e was worse and they did an emergency C
