I am a little scared of the epidural and also I heard that a lot of women get the shakes. I am imagining being strapped to the OR table shaking and cold. I also don't really want to know what they are doing while they are cutting me open. I worry that it will freak me out. I think I'd rather hear a funny/distracting story. And then I am a little worried that the anesthesia will wear off while I am still not sewed back together. I think I worry too much. LOL.
One thing I'm going to ask for this time, is to watch with a mirror... I'd love to see Emersyn actually BEING born.. My m/w is going to be taking photos for me, but it'll still be cool to see it happening in 'real life' time.
Celine - make sure you discuss your various concerns etc beforehand - and TELLLLL the surgeon & his/her team, that you DON'T want to be told what is going on. I know with my c/s they explained what was happening, as it was happening, and I really liked that - but just from looking at Gaby's fathers face, I could tell he could have done without it!
