When you had your c-section? Did your LO have any complications after wards?

Oliver was born at 38 weeks and 1 day. He had a "wet birth" and spent some time in the humidicrib. He couldn't maintain his temp or oxygen levels

I was 39 weeks with my first and 38 with my second. My second DS had low blood sugar- but that was from the GD.

Kyleigh was born at 39 weeks and 6 days. No complications - Though, she did have a pretty bruised head on the side .. The doctor believes it's from me having contractions and her head hitting one of my bones during them.

DS1 was born at 41 weeks. He was nice and comfy. DS2 was born at 29 weeks. Both were c/s. I didn't have any serious physical problems with DS1--my incision reopened and that was pretty gross.

I haven't had it yet, but my dr wants me to be 39 wks. He doesn't think I'll make it that far though.

My little guy will be an Oliver too

38.5wks with ds1 (scheduled c/s) - no complications.
40wks1day with ds 2 (after an unsuccessful trial of vbac) - no complications from c/s, only beforehand when his heartrate was dropping with each contraction (they were pretty certain my wound was rupturing, so I had an emergency c/s).
This time scheduled for 39 weeks exactly.

With DD no.
With DS yes. It wasn't related to the c section, we knew he would have issues before he was born. He had severe breathing and heart rate issues and he also had some growth issues towards the end. Bad DR unfortunately.

40w+3d - no complications other than a little trouble with his airway from meconium.

38w+3d - no complications

37w+1d - She came early b/c I had no fluid left. She had jaundice....not severe, but enough so that she needed the bili blanket in the hospital and at home for several days. She also needed a scan of her heart b/c of a concern the doc had with something he detected. I can't remember what it was called. I know that sounds terrible, but everything came back fine.

39w - No complications
