BTDT Mamas - do you remember if there was any music playing in the operating theatre, when you had your c/s?
Mamas to be - do you know if you can request to have particular music on in the theatre, when you have your c/s (such as a CD you've made)?

When I had Gaby, they were listening to the radio, and when Gaby was actually born, the song 'Hard To Say I'm Sorry', by Chicago, was playing
I am not asking about having particular music on, but I hope they have the radio on.. it helped me to stay calm, with Gab

No but that would have been nice. The only music played was when Owen was born they hit a button on the wall and it plays a lullaby out in the waiting room so your family knows when the baby has been born.

With my first they had music playing and I liked it, with my 2nd I hoped they would but they had no music so if I where you and I wanted music I would ask the surgeon if he would not mind - it can't hurt to ask nicely if it will help you stay calm. : )

No music and I couldn't haver music. My drs liked it quiet. It depends on the dr... but with that kind of surgery if THEY don't want music then YOU don't want it either lol. Their terms, not yours imo. I don't want them screwing up because I insisted on listening to The Cure or whatever.

I was knocked out so I don't know. Music would be nice though this time if I am awake.
