I had staples with my emergency c-section. This last one i had dissolvable stitches. It was nice not having to have anything taken out this time. But my first was a much neater scar.

I had stitches internally and glue on the outside. It healed really fast and is barely visible now, 14 months later.

I had disolvable stitches on the inside and glue on the outside. It looks really great, I don't think anyone will ever notice. My husband says it looks like a paper cut.

Honestly I'm not sure. There weren't any staples or stitches on the outside. I think there were little tape like strips that could be removed within a few days. It actually looked pretty good right after the surgery.
