Have your friendships changed now that you've had children, or are on your way to having your first?

mine definitely have... my kids with no friends seem to have just disappeared off the radar, and my kids WITH friends, although I see them, it's not as often as I'd like - we're all busy with the kids, then some work, some have school, then the kids are in daycare during different hours.... part of why i'm so happy I have JM!

I say yes!!! My single friends who don't have kids have disappeared and now that my DS was diagnosed with autism, my friends with neurotypical kids have disappeared too...I love JM.

I wouldn't say my friends disappeared, but we just don't hang out as much as we used to...obviously. I still get together for lunch with them on my way home from work while Megan is still at the sitters.

Yes. It is much more difficult to get together with my non children friends. Plus, I just don't have the time to see a lot of my friends because by the time I get home from work and get the kids fed, it is too late to see anybody before the kids need to go to bed. And the weekends are pretty hectic.
