I did yoga and a lot of walking during the beginning. I carried my 50lb 5 yr old if I needed to move him from the couch to bed, or I'd pick him up if he got hurt and needed a cuddle. Now my belly is so big and I'm a lil off balanced, so I'd probably fall over if I picked him up
I did a lot of exercise, gym 6-7 times a week. I learned from Reagan and Liam's pregnancies, I feel better if I exercise. I gained the least weight with Jack, he was 10 days early and nearly 9lbs.
I mostly did the strider machine (like stairs) and treadmill.
I had a really good exercise program down in the beginning. I was doing a lot of walking, and a lot of squats and leg presses in preparation for carrying the extra weight. Since this is my 2nd baby...I was getting a lot of pressure early on in my pelvic area. So...my walking and squatting stopped completely probably around week 18 or so. Since...the only walking I'm doing is when I'm at work. I'm a police detective so I often do a lot of walking between the court buildings downtown getting warrants and such. Also...alot of stairs in the police station. UGH!
