Easier b/c I knew what to expect and didn't have any labor.

It was harder (or maybe its just fresher in my mind) because I was in labor longer - tried for a vbac and because I had 2 toddlers at home so I tried to do more faster than before where all I had to do was feed babies. I also think the surgery was harder becuase they had to make a more dramatic cut to remove the scar tissue from the first section.

That being said though...I was in an exercise class 4 weeks later doing strength training, abs and light jogging.

It was easier b/c there was no labor, but harder cause the after birth pains, having an older child who wanted to be picked up and pain in the left side... This time I took ALL my pain meds... Last time I had over half the bottle left...

I was more nervous for my second c-section but my recovery was easier. My 3rd c-section was the worst out of all of them.

I think easier 2nd time since I knew what to expect...

My first was an emergency c-section and motherhood as a whole
was a new experience for me full of surprises...

BUT! Since I did trial labor for a VBAC, I did go through 12 hours
of labor...I feel sort of "helpless" since I can't do anything and
I have to rely on others to help around the house especially with DS.

It was easier in one way because I knew what to expect. But harder as well because I had no help. I had my section Thursday afternoon was home Saturday morning (they literally rushed me out of the hospital) My parents had to pick me up as my dh was working on Saturday. MIL brought BOTH my kids home then...so here I was, JUST had a section, had baby and my two kids ages 4 and 2 with no one there to help me at all. (To top it off I had a spinal headache which I had to go in Sunday for to have a blood patch done) So yea, that part was harder.

With my first, I took it easy & relaxed. With my second, I had more to do. I couldn't just sit around. So I think I overdid it more with the second. I was more sore than after my first, but still nothing too painful.
