Hi! My name is Jessi (27), wife to Aaron (34), mom to Madilyn (2) and we just found out I'm pregnant with #2!!! Yay

I've been lurking on this board for a few months now (since I joined JM). I had to have a c-sec with dd and I will be having another with this little one. My experience wasn't awful, definately not what I was expecting or wanted at the time. But everything turned out fine and I have a beautiful daughter to show for it (along with 9 months worth of stretch marks!).

I'm an open book so if you want to know anything just ask! I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone here!

Congratulations on your pregnancy....and welcome! I don't think we have hosts on this board anymore.

I just had my 2nd in February. Having a new little baby around is the best!

Are you electing to have a 2nd c/s...or are you not interested in trying for a VBAC? With me...I really didn't have any interest in trying for a VBAC. I just wasn't prepared to be in labor for so long again and end up needing a c/s anyway. I chose to have a c/s and had a tubal done as well.

My name is Michelle BTW, I'm 37 and my husband is 47. We have a 3 1/2 year old daughter, Megan...and had a second daughter, Erin in Feb.

Your daughter is adorable!

I'm not eligible for a VBAC. Madi got stuck on my pelvis in a -2 position. The dr told me after she was born that my pelvis is too narrow for a baby to go through. It was also the reason at 41 weeks I hadn't progressed at all. I was induced with Cytotec because I wasn't dialating or ephasing. But to be honest even with a choice I'd probably just do a repeat.

Congrats on your new baby! Your girls are beautiful

Congratulations on your pregnancy and welcome!! I'm Monica (32 in July) and I had my first, Tommy last November by scheduled c-section. He was breech and I was having low fluid issues so we had him about 2.5 weeks early.
