I'm Brandy 29 mommy to Joe jr 9 and Emily 6 and due with #3 in March going to be taken by c-section in Feb. though and I am scared. I had my son natural and my daughter was emergency c-section so maybe that is why I am scared because last time wasn't expected so I think I am more worried then anything.
Sorry for rambling just scared

Hi, my name is Jessi. I have a 2yr old dd named Madi and am expecting my second the beginning of Feb. I had to have a c-sec with dd and I will be having another one probably the end of Jan with this one. I'm nervous too, but I think its because I have time to think about it this round.

I wish I had any words of advise, but I don't really. If you have any questions feel free to ask. This board can be pretty slow but the questions do get answered.

I had a scheduled C-section August 2010. I have a little girl who just turned 1.

From what I hear and I can imagine it will be like that- a scheduled C-section will be a lot easier on your body than an emergency C-section. You won't have to push for hours and you won't have any labor pain. You will get a date for the C-section - that means you can prepare for it mentally and all the stuff you will need in the hospital.

It is surgery but I think if you mentally prepare for it it won't be that bad. This board really helped me a lot by answering my questions and taking my fears away. I was very scared also, but it was exactly as everybody had described it.

If everything goes right and my body will hold the baby til my scheduled date that's what I think scares me the most because even my dr doesn't think I will hold till my scheduled date which means another emergancy c-section That's what scares me the most I think

Ooooh, I didn't know that. How come you and your Dr think that you won't make it to the date? I hope that your baby stays in as long as possible.
