Did you use an abdominal binder after your c-section? Many people tell me that made their recovery and pain so much better! My dr said I can order one through my hospital but that it'd probably be cheaper to buy myself elsewhere. But there's so many different kinds! So did you buy one yourself, and if so what kind was it?

I had my kids in two different Phx hospitals and they both provided one for me. PV hospital gave me one(I had pneumonia, coughing, hemorrhage, etc) and St Joe's gave me one after I asked for one. (Not sure where in AZ you are)

Anyways, for the first couple of days it's pretty awesome. Getting up from a sitting position right after surgery can be tricky and it helped me "feel" like things weren't gonna open and fall out ha ha. I didn't use mine for long but, it was nice for the first few days to get my bearings.

Gah! Apparently Scottsdale Shea is the only freaking hospital in Phx that doesn't provide them for patients! I swear, everyone else that delievered all over the valley just "got" one from the hospital but apparently I have to order it if I want one!
