I ended up with a 'T' incision from my first baby. Now I am pregnant with #2. Do you know how they will go in this time.....will they cut the horizontal or the vertical (hopefully they wouldn't cut both!) It was hard to heal with both. The intersection of the two lines wouldn't close very well.

Thanks in advance if anyone has any experience with this.

I have no clue about the incisions, but I wanted to say WELCOME !!


I am Donna, Proud mom to David 3 and waiting on my 2nd DS who is due on December 9th, but will come on December 2nd if he doesn't dome on his own first.

I thought I would post the answer for people who search this topic in the future. I saw my midwife today and they said they will cut on the horizontal, as that is the direction that heals the best.
