Joe refused to even BUDGE at the ECV yesterday afternoon so it looks like I am having him next week via cesarean, I'll get the exact date at my appointment tomorrow. So any tips for a first timer? I am kinda nervous.....

Welcome to the club! My advice would be 1) ask them not to give you anti-anxiety meds. Because they can make you very drowsy and out of it.2) take a good look a your new baby. Be sure to get pics because for some it doesn't seem real because they didn't experience the woes labor.

I suggest walking as soon as the nurses suggest it, and as often as you feel you can. Walking definately helped me heal faster! Good luck and KUP!

I agree with the walking part, helped me heal faster too the second time, the first time I was mostly in bed until I left the hospital. Also bring something to read, you will probably be there waiting for drugs to take effect for about 2 hours before your c-section. Sorry you have to have a c-section!

Keep up on your pain meds, get up and walking often but also don't overdo it.

I posted my experience for my scheduled c/s in the subforum up top so that may help you, I know it helped me to read stories of other people's experiences!
