Hi ladies!

My name is Kelli and I have been lurking here for a while, I figured I might as well join you girls in the open

Here is a little bit more about me and why I am here.

I am 23 years old and married to Daniel. We have a son Eli who is 16 months and a daughter in heaven who was born sleeping on October 30th 2011, her name is Finley.
With Eli I had an unplanned/emergency c/s due to failure to progress and he started to have low oxygen/HR. I was very disappointed with my birth, but also very glad that the outcome was a healthy baby!
With Finley I really wanted a VBAC from the day I saw my BFP. Thankfully right before she was born, she flipped around and I was able to have my VBAC. Unfortunately it was a very physically traumatic birth. Finley was only 4 lbs 12 oz and 33 weeks gestation, so what should have been an easy delivery was not. I was cut all the way just to get her out. Thankfully her birth taught us a lot about my anatomy and I will not take that lightly for future pregnancies. My husband and I have decided for all my future pregnancies I will be getting a c/s... so that is what brings me here!

We are not TTC actively yet and are at the point where we are kind of just letting things happen as they happen! I thought I would join this group for support and information as we continue the journey of expanding our family!

Hi and welcome!

I'm sorry your VBAC went so terribly wrong.

My name is Jessi. I'm 28 and DH is Aaron. We have a 2 almost 3 year old daughter (Madi) and another girl on the way shortly. I have a c/s scheduled for Feb 1st! My dr won't even let me try for a VBAC and since he is very pro vbac I trust his opinion. I think that a planned c/s will be much easier than an unplanned one.

I'm sorry, I should clarify! Finley did not pass away during the delivery! Her heart stopped beating and I was induced the next day! Sorry for the confusion.

I've followed your journey since I am a part of the Oct 10 PR I lurked a lot in the Sept PR. I'm Caylynne(21) married to DH David and we have an almost 16 month old DD named Megan. I had a c/s because of Megan being breech and I found out I have half a uterus so a version wasn't totally recommended to me.

I am Donna, I also followed your story and have been praying for you and your family.

Like you I had a vaginal birth that wasn't good for me. I was cut and had multiple 4th degree tears and a broken tailbone.

My c section was much easier on my baby and my body.

Hi Kelli, I hope things are well for you, I think we chatted a few times in the Jan 12 ddc and we live in the same city as well.

Due to my busy schedule, I am a perpetual lurker, but I have gained a lot of useful information from this group.

Hi Kelli...And welcome! I'm so sorry to hear about your precious baby girl, that is certainly a tough subject to bring up to some newer "friends". My heart goes out to you!

We're happy to have you here! I'm Cheyenne, 24 married to DH (Terry) 32 and I myself have 2 precious boys from previous relationships... Ethan is 6 born September 2005 via c-section after no progression for 12 hours and Emory was of course a repeat c-section and he is 5 born in December 2006. DH and I have our daughter Breilyn together, she was born November 27 2009 she certainly had other plans for her delivery... My c-section was scheduled for November 30 but after Thanksgiving Dinner on the 26th little miss decided there was no more room for her and I went in to labor... she was born via c-section at 2:51am on November 27 ha ha! To this day she is a feisty girl!
