I recently had my 1st c section 3 wks ago today. I was 34 wks along & my lil guy decided he didnt wanna wait.
My question is did any of you have problems urinating afterwards? I still am having some trouble. I am peeing but Idk if I feel like its good enough. I also feel kinda gassy & I feel like Im having more bowel movements that before. Should I talk to my OB about this?
They knew I was having problems in the hospital bc I had a catheter removed and inserted back in like 3 times bc I wasnt emptying my bladder.
Since this was my 1st c section, Idk if this is normal or if I should discuss it with the Dr. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I remember having some urinary and gas issues after my c-sections. I cannot remember how long it lasted though. Three weeks sounds like a long time to me. I would give your OB a call just to check things out.
I would also call my OB if I felt that something wasn't right. I remember having urinary problems in the first 3 days after, but not longer than that (besides stinging). I had bowel issues and gas for longer though, so that might be normal.
I made an appt but it isn't until next Wednesday! Ugh.
Idk if I wanna wait that long but I guess if I wanna see my regular OB who knows my story then I have to wait. I'm just worried that something is wrong with me now and it's really getting to me emotionally. So I decided yesterday to call and make an appt about it.
Glad you made an appointment. You shouldn't still be having issues urinating this far out I wouldn't think. Maybe having a catheter put in 3 times introduced bacteria and maybe you have a bladder infection? IDK, good luck and KUP!
