What exercises did you do? Were you able to get rid of your belly?

I really want to get rid of this belly this time!

With DD1 I waited 8 weeks. I started with cardio and light weights. I didn't do any ab work until 12 weeks because I was afraid to. I didn't want to damage anything. I didn't lose all of my stomach flab, but that was mostly because I wasn't super dedicated.

With DD2 I started a couch to 5k program yesterday (Lyla will be 5 weeks tomorrow). My incision started hurting half way through the workout and I stopped. I'll try again next week. I'll be doing that on Mon, Wed, Fri. After my endurance goes up (probably by week 4) I'll throw in weight training Tue, Thurs. I'll probably start ab exercises when I've gone through the entire 5k program.

I started at 6 weeks with walking 15 minutes gradually increasing to an hour of brisk walking. I honestly waited like 6 months for any ab workout. No matter what I do I still have a belly and extra skin yuk! Why is it so hard to lose your belly after a c-section?
