Hi I'm Isela and I'm due April 8 with my third child. My first delivery was vaginal and I tore really bad that's why i opted to have a c-section the second time around. Recovery from the c-section was amazing I was in by far less pain than with the vag delivery I couldn't walk that's how bad it was. So my question is for those of you who have had repeat c-sections was recovery easier or harder. I've heard that it is harder/ much more painful the second time around due to scar tissue. I would really love to hear your experiences. Thanks!
Hi Isela! I am about seven weeks away from my fourth elective c-section, and I would definitely say that I did not find the second recovery (about 3 years between) to be noticeably harder or easier than the first. By the third section, I think that I had a bit harder recovery, but more from my body being six years older than I was the first time around and I weighed about ten pounds more. It certainly wasn't hard enough, though, to make me regret the choice or reluctant to have my fourth! Does that help? Good luck to you!
