If you have more than one, how much was the first one you had a c-section with?
My DD was 8 pounds 9 ounces.

My first was 9 lbs. 5 oz. I have scarring on the cervix from a D&C and can't dilate, so that's why I had the c-section, but I don't know- he'd probably have been a hard birth with his weight and with a 14" head circumference- I might've ended up with a c-section, anyway. My next 2 c-section babies were 8 lbs. 3 oz. and 10 lbs. 6 oz.

I was told my first would weigh 10lbs .... (that wasn't the reason for the "c" though). He only weighed 8-1.
My second was 8-9
My third was 6-13

My c/s baby was 9lb, 13oz. But I had 2 boys over 10lbs vaginally before him. The issue was not the baby size, it was that he wouldn't drop and was loosing heart rate during contractions. It was scary.

Just curious... was weight the reason for your c/s? I personally think too much emphasis is put on how much a baby weighs vs how the baby is shaped. Some women with small babies need a c/s, while others with large babies don't.
For example, my twin sister's first was only 6 lbs (water broke @ 38 wks), but the baby got stuck anyway. She got 3rd degree tears when they pulled the baby out with a vacuum (they were "this" close to doing a c/s). Her second was 9 lbs ... water broke at only 36 weeks. He also got stuck, but they opted for the c/s that time since she had such a hard time with the first one.
As I said, Ben was only 8/6, but his upper body was (and still is) much larger proportionately than his lower body. He was also at an odd angle and couldn't come down.

Brandon was 9lbs 12oz. The size of his head was the reason- or at least part of the reason- I had a c-section. He was also 23.75 inches long, which just doesn't sound like a lot of fun to deliver vaginally.

Rachel was only 5 lbs, 9 oz (1 day before her due-date). The c-section was due to her heart stopping during labor. I never dilated, even after they broke my water and 27 hours of contractions. She never dropped, and afterward, they said it was due to the shape of my pelvis.

DD was 8'7. Doctor told me I could try for a VBAC if my next one was that weight or less but DS ended up being 8'11.

My first was 8lb 11oz, I had the section after being overdue and induced, I never dialated and she didn't move down, my second was 7lb 15oz, she was delivered about 1 1/2 weeks early, with this one I'm measuring smaller than with my girls but it's ALL baby this time, I think he's gonna be between around 8 1/2lbs

My daughter was 10 lbs, 21 oz, I had her the day after my due date. I went into labor, 14 hours worth, pushing for 2 1/2 hours (doctor told me she was only about 8.5 lbs) two sizes of forceps, 3 vaccum failed attempts and a 3rd degree episiotomy before I was taken for a c-section. She was soo stuck that in the OR, the nurse had to stick her arm up me vaginally and push while the doctor pulled from the incision, at one point the nurse and doctor were touching hands. Not fun, it was horrible!! The recovery was painful and very very long. And my daughter ended up in the NICU for 5 days with a fever, lacerated eyebrow and a huge cephalhematoma. The doctor is now under investigation by the Texas Medical Board for negligence.
