I was just wondering who had complications after their c-sections? What happened and how was it fixed?

Ok.....My first c-section was a disaster!!!!!! I got really sick during the surgery, and could not quit bleeding! Right before the were going to start getting ready to give me blood...God stepped in and stopped my bleeding. I had to have a drain tube inserted that was a nightmare. I hurt so bad all of time. My recovery was awful. I was always taken pain meds to help with the pain, but they made me sick and have to throw up. That does not feel so good with a fresh c-section.
My second c-section in May was a breeze. I had a different doctor and he did an amazing job. He cut me open and could not get the babies head out, so he had to cut me more. I was so worried when I heard them talking about it. Would you believe that all I took after my second c-section was tylenol. I hardly had any pain. It was AMAZING!!!! I was up walking 4 hours after the surgery and felt good. What a relief!

After my first I did too much too fast and split open a couple of my stitches which then got infected, I was given an antibiotic and it cleared up in around a week, though it smelled horrible and was painful!! Luckily #2 was great and I'm really hoping this one will be at least as good if not better!

After I came home from the hospital I progressively just felt worse and worse - MAJOR headaches and fevers. At first we just thought it was my milk coming in. When she was 10 days old my hubby had had enough and took me back to the ER. They re-admitted me and did an U/S. I had a bad uterine infection and severe anemia. They let me have the baby in the hospital as long as my hubby stayed (as if I'd let him leave!!) I was given IV antibiotics 3x per day plus other various injections and pills. Luckily I only had to stay 4 days.

My2boysintx, I absolutely cannot imagine throwing up after a C/S!! That must have been awful.
