It will be 6 weeks on Wednesday that I had my 2nd C-section. This incision is much higher than my other (baby was only 22 weeks along and breech) and I am having so much trouble sitting up for more than 15 minutes. I already had my PP check and the doctor said everything looks fine, but I don't think I should be having this much pain. I felt really good after 1-2 weeks with the last one...
Do any of you have a scar much higher than another? Is this why it still hurts? My doctor wrote a prescibtion for Tylenol3, but it'll be out in a few days and I'm so scared. What should I do? I'm trying to avoid going to the doctor again, as money is very tight right now...

did the hospital give you a belly binder? it's like a support girdle that is supposed to help with that.for me it made it worse (i think because i'm overweight) but it has helped alot of people i know.it seems to me like it may be because the incision is higher up.i was fine sitting down ,walking was uncomfy for me lol

I agree... to me the belly binder was worse. I'm also overweight, though I don't know if that would've made a difference. Could you just CALL and see if they'll refill it? Or have the pharmacy call for you. That way you wouldn't need an office visit and you could get another 1-2 weeks of relief. Mine was still sore at 6 weeks as well. I was on narcotic meds for 3-4 weeks. Tylenol/Advil after that!
