well i visited the ICAN.org website someone here had recommended to me and i saw that you can register your hospital if they forced you to have a cesection...if this happened to you did you ever register your hospital or would you if it had happened??

i did register mine...

I wasn't forced, and I think it depends on the situation if I were to tell on them or not. If it was neccessary to have a c-section, then I wouldn't, just because I believe that my Dr. would make the best informed decision for me. But if there were other options then I might- I think I would be pretty upset if it did happen though. Do you mind if I ask why you were forced into having a section? I hope that didn't come off as rude- I didn't mean for it too. =)

My last two c-sections were b/c my hospital doesn't allow VBACs for women with private doctors. I guess in a sense, I was forced into them, but in a sense I wasn't (I could have chosen different prenatal care). I wouldn't consider reporting them b/c of that last reason.... it was my choice to stay with my doctor.

I'm also curious why you feel you were forced. Didn't you have to fill out the consent form before surgery? I've never heard of that before. My c/s was planned because it was the safest thing for both of us. I totally trust both the ob and the perinatologist who were working with me.
