I thought I'd share a few tips on some on how to colour match make up for yourself, it's a tricky business and can be difficult to be confident in your colour matching abilities.
Don't colour match on your hand! Your skintone on your hand IS different to your skin. Instead, swab some on your neck!
Then go outside if you can, or somewhere with tonnes of natural light and check in the mirror
Is it looking orange? It's too dark, try a lighter shade
Is it looking almost white? It's too pale, try a shade up
If you cannot find the perfect shade for you, try a different line or range, or if your really comfy with make-up, buy the two shades closest to you in light and dark, then experiment to mix them together to find the shade thats right for you!
Cause I know my weakness, know my voice,
Now I believe in grace and choice,
And I know perhaps my heart is farce,
But I’ll be born without a mask
