Have you ever tried using youtube to find make-up tutorials?
If you have which is your favourite Youtube beauty Vlogger?
If not is this something youíd heard about and would be interested in trying?

I have taught myself how to apply make up (I am not amazing but I am much better than I was) by watching youtube videos by TiffanyD, she is a fabulous vlogger who is also a professional make up artist. She has some great tips!

I used to watch them but I have never really used them to apply makeup.

Personally I like to just play around using a basic outline for makeup...

a med/light neutral all over the lid from brow to lash line (think a shimmer beige)

then a medium color on the lid itself (say a soft rose in my case)

then a darker tone in the crease but only from the middle to the outside edge... (a plum in this case)

and then a light silver/white on the brow bone itself and then blend with a soft brush to get a pretty & light smokey eye...

for a night out I just darken the shades a little and add in some black eye liner

and I ALWAYS use a sheer lip gloss with a lip brush to make the lips stand out naturally...

Because when I really got into make up I really didn't know how to create the looks I wanted I found YouTube helped me learn, now I watch for techniques that I think might work for me.

Applying make-up is such a personal thing, no two people will apply it the same way, you have to watch and pick up technique from the people that make sense to you, be they professional artists or beauty bloggers and vloggers on youtube.

I watch a lot of tutorials and vloggers
I personally like Lollipop26 (although, I think she is in semi-retirement), I love pixiwoo and pixi2woo, makeupgeek and some others that I cannot remember.

There is one I really like, she takes regular drugstore makeup for her tutorials and does super stuff.

Yes, I love Lauren (panacea81)! Watch lots of others too, get some great ideas. Unfortunately I don't practice make-up much though.
