Follow these six easy steps for pushing back your cuticles:

  1. Prepare bowl of soapy warm water. Not too hot, nor too cold.
  2. Find a clean dry towel ready for patting your fingers dry.
  3. Soak your fingers in the water for 5-7 minutes
  4. Gently pat them dry on the towel
  5. Apply a small amount of moisturiser/cuticle cream on your cuticles. Vaseline works too. Rub it in a little, but not completely.
  6. Get an Orange Stick, and one by one, gently push back your cuticles on each finger nail. Do one hand at a time. Don't push too hard.
  7. Rub in the rest of your cream and then gently rinse your hands of any residue cream.
Repeat this once or twice a week for beautifully healthy looking cuticles

I used to cut my cuticles and it made them very, very angry. I have stopped that and they are so much better. I use cuticle oil twice a day (sometimes more) because I wash my hands so frequently.

Its something im not going to keep up, but i've never done them before now and there is so much dead skin there it's not healthy so I've decided to do it until all the dead skin is gone, then stick to hand creams and cutical creams
