In a makeup rut.. what foundation are you currently using?

For years I used Mac Studio Fix then I switched to Bare Escentuals but now I'm bored with it. PLus I always get it on my clothes when I'm applying it. I tried Cover Girl Aquasmooth and I LOVE it but even in the lightest shade it turns orangey on me after a while.

So what are you wearing currently??

I use Clinique Superpowder. It's got foundation already in it and applies like a powder with either the sponge or a powder brush. It has good coverage, and since I found the right color I don't even see a line.

I use covergirl simply powder. I like it a lot, I only put it on once in the morning.

I use Bourjois Happy foundation.
It's nice but it comes off on my clothes, great coverage and long wearing as well!

I actually use Bare Minerals...I think it's awesome stuff...and I haven't really gotten any on my clothes, but that's because I use a foundation square instead of their brushes...it goes on with a lot more coverage that way.

I like the Revlon foundations because they keep my skin moisturized and they are long wearing.

I wouldn't suggest using Revlon if you have oily skin - I couldn't ever use it as a teenager because it make me break-out more than I usually did

I have an everyday foundation and a going-out foundation.

I have found that you need to be aware of how different lights affect your make-up. During the week when youre outside and in a brightly lit workplace you cant be wearing something thick and heavy, because sunlight and flourenscent (sp?) lights will make your make-up look terrible and thick. You need something light that looks natural. I use Innoxia young solution. Its very light and has a slight coverage so it still looks natural.

At night time when youre out having dinner with friends or having a few drinks you want something that covers well and makes you look like you have a flawless complexion. When youre drinking alcohol your body gets dehydrated and your face lacks that natural glow. You need something that brightens your face and gives it a glow. I use Maybelline dream matte mousse and I LOVE it! It has great coverage and feels so light. Its so nice to put on your face too, it feels wonderful and makes your face feel beautifully soft.

Currently I am using Bare Minerals and LOVE it!!!

Before that I alternate with Prescriptives and Clinique. The Clinique one I was using was the "workout" one because it is light and then I was also using the Prescriptives one that is basically a tinted moisterizer.

I use bare minerals too! I love it - it has made my skin so much better - everything else always caused me to break out in pimply bumps all over my cheeks and whatnot. I always put it on before I put my shirt on so I never have a problem with the powder on my clothes. Then I carefully dress the rest of the way.
