I voted sometime because the only time I go is if I'm going away something hot and need a base tan, or I've got a special event (i.e. wedding) and need to get some colour and get ride of some tans lines.

I enjoy it because it's like a planned short nap.

I was using the cyclone--my goodness that gets you dark and with the cyclone fans-the heat is not at all intense

Girls, I plead with you... after many years of tanning OCCASIONALLY... please don't do this. I have age spots on my face already--and I'm only 32! The risk of skin cancer as well...

There are so many good SUNLESS tanners out there! Try one of those instead!

Most people would probably say I'm already tan but I like a little more color on me.
I have never been to tanning salon, I will use self tanners though. Fake N Bake is one of my favorites. Its a bit messy but looks like the real thing.

Soooo true! I've gone less than 5 times since she was born!

But yes I used to, much more often. And never when it's nice and sunny out, only in the winter when I don't want to look pasty.

No for me. I burn so easy and already have sun spots from just being outside. I do the sunless tanners.

Same thing here. Not to start a debate or anything but tanning is so unhealthy. Any one can get cancer from a tanning booth and it can be fatal. IMHO, it's not worth the risk. I would rather be pale or use self tanners. My cousin turns 40 this year. She has tanned for probably 20 years and she has the skin of a 60 year old (at least)Not attractive.

I voted no because it actually irritates my pores and gives me more blackheads (weird, but true)

I try to get out into the sun for at least 15 min a day despite my skin not tanning well because the vitamin D you get from the sun is pretty important.

I used to go during the fall / winter, before I was pregnant. In the summer I have no need because I spend a lot of time at the pool. I will probably go occasionally once the cold weather comes around again. If I don't have any color, I look icky.

I dont go to tanning salons because they still contain harmful UV rays. Instead I get a spray on tan. It lasts for about a month or two, but is great if you have something special to go to. Its safe and looks great!
