anyone else annoyed by their cycle while breastfeeding? last cycle I had was 75 days long and confused me like crazy so I started temping again so that way I would know what is going on, well according to ff, I o'd a few weeks ago, because I had a thermal shift (slight) but my temps are nothing compared to what they were when I was pg with Benjamin (I still have my chart from him, how neat is that?!?) anyway, so AF should be here but nothing. cycles while BFing drive me nuts! I suppose what could be going on is nursing on demand is suppressing my ovulation, so it's going to vary month to month what is going to happen with my cycle.

I can soooo relate!!!! I've only had one ppaf since my last child's birth in Oct last year. Not really sure it was af, either, probably more likely a chemical pg. It soo sucks though cause you can't figure anything out. Multiple patches of cm, completely unrelated cp! I don't even check cp anymore... My temps look like mountains!!! Ugghhh....hopefully it will get better soon!

How long have you been bfing? How old is your lil nursling?

Melissa, totally agree! i just had my first PPAF in april and we had some slip ups (well withdrawl but i am living proof of how well the withdrawl method works, lol) and now i dont know when to test or when i should expect AF. Im still nursing as much as Fox will allow and i pump. So of course my body starts playing tricks on me like, making me feel tired, gassy, bloated, crampy heartburn, adverse to foods i normally love (sausage, mushrooms) and here i am thinking, well could i be preggo? But the tests, the tests say no. Of course im disappointed when i dont see two lines cause im all for having another baby. Ugh, i wish that now that she was here, she would come on my normal pp schedule. I even remember telling dh that i think i O'd later than normal now that i know what to watch for. So if i did, it was around the 30th-2nd of may. Ugh. Now that i wrote this, i'll get her tomorrow and not have my january baby. (listen to me we arnt even ttc lol)

9 1/2 months. I temped this month because I want to know what is going on and 18 days ago FF said I ovulated, well today because of my low temp, they took that away so I still haven't ovulated and I'm on day 34! it's going to be another long month!

I get disappointed too, but then it's probably good that my body naturally spaces out my kiddos lol!
