I thought I'd ask this here...

I have a 7 month old DD that I BF and I haven't had my first PP AF. Well yesterday I had some pink spotting and then cramped all day long yesterday, I thought that meant AF was on her way but by bedtime I felt completely normal and had not had anymore spotting so I just assumed it was a fluke. Well about midmorning today I had some pinkish brown spotting and then I started cramping again. I have had a couple of more spotting instances today. When I say spotting I mean colored discharge when I go to the bathroom. Nothing on my panties just when I go to the bathroom. The cramping is getting so bad tonight that I don't want to move. My question for ya'll is do you think this is AF trying to make an appearance or do you think this could be implantation bleeding or something else? BTW I am not TTC I am on the mini-pill and have been faithful about taking it.

Unfortunately the mini-pill isn't terribly effective from what I have heard. I know several people that got pg while taking it. If the cramping weren't so painful I would say it could be implantation, but I haven't ever known anyone to have them that badly. Anything is possible though! Sometimes there can be spotting and cramping a month or two before AF becomes official. I had a bit of spotting about the time AF would have shown the month before I actually started, although I didn't actually ovulate. I would give it a week or two and POAS. I hope you get the results you want!

It could possibly be implantation, but like the PP I agree that the cramping could likely be AF starting to return. Has your LO recently started STTN or eating solids? If so, that would make me believe even more than AF is returning. KUP.

She has been getting solids for 3 months and she hasn't been sleeping through the night for a few months either. I don't know because I feel fine today and haven't had any spotting at all. HMMMMMMMM weirdness.

I'm gonna say its probably your "warning" As in, next month or so you should get your first real AF. I had the exact same thing happen the month before i got my first pp AF.
