This caught my eye & I have to say that I am very proud of Selma. WOW...what a selfless act! I hope they can educate those women to breastfeed!

Thats so moving!! I dont personally believe in cross feeding babies/children for convenience (wet nurses) etc but for a sick hungry baby my god this is highly commendable, go Selma!!

I just happened to see this post - it's been a long time since I've been on the TTC while b'feeding forum, but good luck to you all ladies! Anyway I just wanted to say, I believe the woman was b'feeding her child but had problems with milk not coming in, possibly due to the lack of nourishment she herself has access to? I would say that 99.9% of 3rd world women in these situations would breastfeed because they have no other option - their child would die if not breastfed? That has always been my assumption anyway....

ETA: I had just read about this on different websites - I didn't have time to watch the clip so I apologise if it mentions they don't b'feed their babies and I've got it wrong!
