I've found conflicting advice online and am not sure if you can use both? Add in the breastfeeding as well and it makes it harder to know!

I'm wondering whether to go ask the doc but I am pretty sure that the fact I am nursing a 2 1/2yr old will make them too biased to even give me proper medical advice! They'll just think that if I want to get pregs so much I would just wean!

Hi. Im Jolene. 31 years old. I suffered three years of a short luteal phase and didnt think I could get pregnant again without medical assistance but fell pregnant by accident and naturally. I am really happy and excited to be having a baby although knowing Im going it alone this time is a bit daunting and scary!

I really don't know. I've read conflicting things on it too. I wouldn't bother asking your doctor, they'll just tell you to wean.

How much vitex do you take? Does it seem to be making a difference for you? If not, maybe try just the progesterone next cycle and see what that does.

I'm actually thinking of going back on vitex, hoping it helps me O sooner.

I'm taking 2000mg of Vitex now! At first I just took one tab (1000mg) then second cycle upped it but this is my third cycle and so far no difference. I figured I need to give it some time though as they say to wait 'at least 3mths' for it to work. Maybe I'll keep going through my fourth cycle before deciding? Good idea about switching to the cream instead of the vitex though! Didn't think of that! lol

From what I've read you have to get natural progesterone cream and its really expensive!
