Hi my name is Amy (37) my husband name is Frank(46) We have 4 girls and 1 little boy (10)months old. He is breast-feeding often .I still have not gotten my friend.We are not using any birth control.We want to start trying for number 6 in August.Hopefully my friend would have returned. Any advise

G'day Amy!! Welcome I'm Elise (21) annd DH is Remy (27) We have 2 little ones, Eva is nearly 3 and Jayden is 7.5 months We are NTNP right now. If I haven't fallen pregnant by Jan/Feb we will be 'officially' TTC.

4 girls and a little boy... that's a good sized family DH and I would love to have 5 or more children. Were you surprised to get a little boy after so many girls? ( A nice surprise for Frank I bet! After mum had 3 girls, apparently my dad was over the moon to get a son!)

As for your period returning, may I ask when your period returned with your other children? Sometimes the return of fertility is around the same time with each child. Of course that's dependent on the amount of nursing etc.. Are you still feeding through the night? I've heard that cuttng out night feeds can prompt the return of fertility. Other than that I don't really have any other advice.

Yes he does feed at night. I got my period when the girls where 6-10 months old but the more ate solid the Jake.My husband is totally in love that is his buddy.We would really like another boy.

welcome to the board. Once your DS starts to take more solids AF will probably show back up. These LO grow by leaps and bounds at this age...my DS is also 10m old...so I am sure he will start to become more interest in big people food soon.
