My temps are lower since stopping nursing...?

Hey! How is everyone? Seems quiet around here at the mo?

Anyhoo just passing through and saying how strange my temps are since stopping nursing...my chart:
1ed85b Ovulation Charts

I wonder if thats something to do with not making milk now? The weathers hot and sticky too so wouldn't have expected low temps?

Hopefully will mean my hormones are correcting now? I'm on CD14 with no sign of ovulation yet though (am using OPK's) so still waiting to see.....

I think the lower temps are b/c all the BFing hormones are starting to level out. Hopefully this will improve your LP

How is your DD doing without BFing? Still being a little trooper? How are you doing with it?

We're not done breastfeeding but we're down to once and day and not everyday at that. I noticed my temps are lower this cycle than they have been in previous ones. I can only attribute it to hormones leveling out (or trying to anyway).

Well, I ovulated (confirmed by OPK's and awaiting temps but looking good) and on CD16 which is good! Usually ovulate CD19 but I have had a few CD16 cycles. The last CD16 ov I had a 11 day LP so fingers crossed! We even DTD CD15 and 16 just to make the most of it! lol

Dakota is doing fine! She is even sleeping through the night now - first time ever - and in her own bed too! BUT she is only sleeping 9hrs a night instead of the 12hrs it used to be (guess cos her sleep is now uninterrupted) which means she drives me mad upto 9pm or later and is up too darn early! grrr! But I guess it'll get better with time. She doesn't try to get at my boobs or anything, even if I am in the bath so that side of things is fine. She's proud at being 'a big girl'.

I am just praying this is my month for a BFP, even though its still early days from stopping nursing, but remember I said that I always wanted an April baby and getting pregs now would give us that!

So how are you doing in your cycles?

I'm so glad to hear everything is going so well for you guys and that Dakota has handled the weaning well! That must be such a relief. And Yay for sleeping through the night in her own bed!!! I'm sure her sleep will lengthen out over time, its just something she's got to get used to right now. I hope this is your month!!!!!

For myself, I'm 7DPO and just waiting right now. This is my second soy cycle and my first using B6 to help my LP. We'll see if it helps any! I would love to get my BFP next week; I always said my ideal month to have a baby is March!!!

YAY for DD sleeping through the night and being a 'big girl'. I am so glad she took the weaning well...for her and mama!

My 4yo only sleeps about 9 hours a night but does take a 2-3 hour nap during the day. Is Dakota napping for you?

I am crossing my fingers for you! The 2ww is tough.

You should really come around here more. You know so much about TTC while BF even though DD is weaned now. Plus I am really interested to see how your LP does this cycle

Aww thanks Kixs! I may hopefully be back online at home by the weekend so I will be able to come around more and keep up with all the posts!

I actually realised today that I got my dates wrong and ovulated CD15 not 16 which is even better! Although it all depends on my LP...although I am praying its a BFP instead!

D's time is better - more 10hrs now - but she has taken to napping again in the day and staying up even later! Its all a bit varied right now and a tad frustrating..last night was 10.30pm! Argh! But that (hopefully) is a one off cos she napped twice yesterday (whilst with hubby).

I guess we'll get there...lol...probably I'll JUST start getting decent night sleeps when we have a new baby and get sleepless nights again!

Anyhoo, I am 5dpo today - was sick yesterday but too early to think of that as a good sign or anything!

Did you know that actually getting a decents nights sleep can do wonders for your CM and LP?!?!?! In my NFP booking it actually recomends removing distractions to increase sleep and darking your room to improve your fertility. Crazy huh?

Thats a new one! Haven't heard that...would explain why my LP is short as D has never slept fully through the night until now (but still not consistant although better)
