I know I am lurking here but I was wondering if any you ladies have gotten your first PP AF in the first few months after giving birth? I got my first PP AF (I am exclusively BFing) at 7 weeks PP! I cannot believe I got it already as I never got it until 7 months PP with my son.

Am I considered fertile from here on out then? Just curious. We were NTNP after our son and I never got pregnant (even after I got my period back) until I weaned DS at 9 months.

I kinda *thought I got AF at 6 1/2 weeks post partum, but apparently I didn't because then I didn't get AF until after I weaned at 10 months.

There is something called a "seventh week bleed" and I think that's what was going on for me. Apparently women who experience it are more likely to start ovulating sooner rather than later, but that wasn't my experience.
